About Me

I work collaboratively with my clients in order to create the most effective change. The work is reparative, strength building and will give you access to tools that lend to a greater ability to achieve happiness and fulfillment in all aspects of your life.

I'm a graduate of Antioch University in Los Angeles. I received my clinical training at Family Service of Santa Monica and The Family Resource Counseling Center in West LA. I've worked with high risk families at the South Bay Center for Counseling and with the Venice Community Housing Corporation's transitional living facility for homeless women and their children. I have completed the Trauma Studies Program, the one year Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program and the Eating Disorder & Substance Abuse program through the Los Angeles Institute & Society for Psychoanalytic Studies. I have a diverse clientele that includes families, couples, adolescents and individual adults. My passion is deeply rooted in making sure that my clients live their lives to their full potential.

I believe very strongly in the positive effects of talk therapy. I consider myself a compassionate, empathic, nurturing therapist and understand that with a supportive environment and the right therapeutic relationship the outcome for the client can be life changing.

The way I work consists of helping my clients with their present day issues whether it be depression, anxiety, difficulty in relationships or other life altering events (children, marriage, career, loss), while incorporating exploration and processing of past relationships and traumas that may effect the way they problem solve now.
